HELPING THE ATHLETIC BODY COMMUNICATE

Understanding My Focus On Bringing The Highest Level Of Physical Therapy

Hi, my name is Cody, and I developed the patented methodology, Point Reset, to help people recover optimally and perform to their absolute best.

Growing up in North Texas, I earned my doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University after graduating from Texas Tech. I knew that I wanted to focus on the athletic body, and fortunately when I arrived in Dallas I was able to build clientele at an incredible clinic where I worked directly with athletes from high school to professional league.

I soon realized that there was an unattended group that could use high quality therapy and recovery: dancers. I earned a specialization in Dance Medicine Rehabilitation, focusing on their most important tools — the feet. This not only opened up new work with these performers, it further expanded my work with the athletic community and those with foot injuries.

I opened my own clinic in 2010, and have since seen a wide array of injuries — and have helped the recovery of the common daily athlete and even some names you may know. This helped develop my approach and pushed me to gain greater skills in speeding up recovery times. It all led me to the specialization traditionally known as Trigger-Point Needling.

Although the name sounded a bit intimidating to clients at first, they were as floored as I was at how immediate the results came. This inspired me to develop my own technique which I patented along with a new name, Point Reset, so that clients would be more receptive to this advanced therapy. The results have been absolutely incredible in helping to re-define the outcomes for my clients — ultimately, a re-definition in physical therapy.

“A clear understanding of the issues, a direct application of techniques, and the willingness to adopt new movement patterns ensures a successful recovery. It allows us to fortify how your body communicates in a way that will significantly reduce injury. This is how we change the game.”
